Open Heaven 19 February 2025 Today Devotional: JEHOVAH NISSI

OPEN HEAVEN 19 FEBRUARY 2026 DEVOTIONAL TODAY

TOPIC: THE UNLIMITED GOD I

MEMORISE:
Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
Isaiah 43:13

READ: Psalm 2:1-12
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

RCCG OPEN HEAVEN 19 FEBRUARY 2026 MESSAGE TODAY

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27

God likes to ask questions, and we see several instances of this in the Bible. When He asks a question, however, it isn’t because He doesn’t know the answer, but because He wants to reveal something about Himself. God asked the question in the Scripture above because He wanted to let you know that He is unlimited.

The word ‘unlimited’ is a combination of two words: ‘un’ and ‘limited’. ‘Un’ is a prefix of Latin and Greek origin that simply means ‘not, while to be limited is to be restricted. Therefore, when we say that God is unlimited, it means that He is sovereign and has absolutely no restrictions.

The devil limits people by placing an embargo on their lives that says, “Thus far can you go and no further.” For instance, if someone is lame, he or she might be able to crawl but cannot stand, walk, or run; hence, the fellow’s movement is limited.

God is not limited and cannot be hindered; He cannot be stopped from doing what He wants. Our God, the I AM THAT I AM, cannot be limited by anyone or anything.

When God wants to work, no one can hinder Him; when He wants to create something, He can use what seems like nothing to produce a masterpiece.

When He saw how chaotic and dark the earth was in the beginning, He didn’t wring His hands in frustration and despair. Instead, He said, “Let there be Light!” (Genesis 1:3). As thick as the darkness was, it fled at the sound of God’s voice. Whenever opposing forces gather, He who sits in the heavens laughs because His unlimited power can be displayed without question (Psalm 2:1-4).

In today’s Bible reading, we see how the nations and heathen kings gathered to oppose God, but in the end, they failed. When the enemy stacks one opposition after another against you, that is time to laugh because you have a Father who is truly unlimited. If you call on His name and put your total trust in Him, He will work His wonders in your life, regardless of the nature of the opposition or the number of enemies you might be facing.

Beloved, you have no reason to be intimidated by the devil’s threats and obstacles that seem insurmountable; call on the One who is truly invincible, and you will overcome everything that stands in your way.

PRAYER POINT:

Unlimited God, please help me to fight my battles and grant me victory on all sides, in Jesus’ name.

OPEN HEAVEN DEVOTIONAL 19 FEBRUARY 2026 COMMENTARY

MEMORISE: Isaiah 43:13

“Yea, before the day was I am He; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand: I will work, and who shall let it?”

This memory verse is a bold declaration of God’s absolute sovereignty. Daddy Adeboye brings our attention to a God who is not reacting to circumstances but acting from eternity. Before situations arise, He already IS. His works cannot be reversed, blocked, or vetoed by any power—human or demonic.

BIBLE READING: Psalm 2:1–12

This psalm paints a dramatic picture of rebellion against God and the futility of opposing Him.

Key Insights from Psalm 2:

  • v.1–3: Human and demonic alliances may plan rebellion, but their counsel is empty.
  • v.4: God’s response to opposition is not panic but laughter—because He is unlimited.
  • v.6–9: God’s decree stands firm; His authority overrides every throne.
  • v.10–12: Wisdom is found in submission, not resistance, to the Almighty.

Psalm 2 reassures believers that no conspiracy can cancel divine purpose.

God’s Questions Reveal His Nature

“Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)

God’s questions are not for information but for revelation. Daddy Adeboye highlights that when God asks questions, He is inviting us to confront our limited thinking and align with His limitless reality. This particular question exposes a core truth: God is unlimited.

Understanding the Meaning of “Unlimited”

Breaking Down the Word:

  • “Un” – means not
  • “Limited” – means restricted

To say God is unlimited means:

  • He has no boundaries
  • He answers to no higher authority
  • He is sovereign in will and power

Nothing restrains Him—time, matter, opposition, or numbers.

How the Devil Tries to Impose Limits

The enemy thrives by enforcing false ceilings:

  • Sickness that restricts movement
  • Fear that limits potential
  • Poverty that caps progress
  • Sin that chains destiny

Just as a lame person may crawl but cannot run, Satan seeks to define how far a person can go. But Daddy Adeboye reminds us: God does not operate under embargoes.

The I AM That I AM: God Cannot Be Hindered

God is self-existent and self-sufficient. He does not wait for permission, resources, or approval.

Biblical Proof:

  • Creation (Genesis 1:3): God spoke light into darkness without tools or assistance.
  • Chaos didn’t intimidate Him—His word rearranged reality.
  • Darkness fled instantly because unlimited power spoke.

When Opposition Gathers, Heaven Laughs

Psalm 2:1–4 shows nations and kings uniting against God. Yet heaven’s response is laughter, not alarm.

Why God Laughs:

  • Opposition does not threaten Him
  • Numbers do not intimidate Him
  • Strategies cannot outsmart Him

Daddy Adeboye teaches that when resistance intensifies, it often signals that God is about to display His power.

What This Means for You as a Believer

When the enemy stacks:

  • One problem on another
  • One delay upon another
  • One threat after another

That is not the time to panic—it is time to laugh by faith.

Why?

  • Your Father is unlimited
  • Your help is invincible
  • Your outcome is secure if you trust Him

The Key That Activates God’s Unlimited Power

Total Trust in His Name:

  • Call on Him sincerely
  • Depend on Him completely
  • Refuse intimidation

Daddy Adeboye assures us that God’s wonders are not limited by the nature or number of oppositions.

Warning: Never Measure God by Your Situation

  • Giants do not shrink God
  • Delays do not weaken God
  • Threats do not silence God

Fear comes from forgetting who God is. Faith rises when we remember His unlimited nature.

Conclusion: The Invincible One Is on Your Side

Beloved, you have no reason to bow to fear or surrender to threats. The devil’s obstacles are loud, but God’s power is louder. Call on the One who cannot be stopped, restrained, or defeated.

Prayer:

“Unlimited God, I acknowledge Your sovereignty over my life. Every limitation imposed by the enemy is broken today. Work Your wonders in my situation, and let Your power silence every opposition, in Jesus’ name.”

Action Points:

  • Identify areas where fear has limited your faith.
  • Confess Isaiah 43:13 aloud daily for one week.
  • Laugh in faith when opposition arises—heaven is backing you.

Remember:
When God works, no one can stop Him. Trust the Unlimited One.
