TODAY’S LESSON

Memory Verse: Luke 17:1

“Then He said to the disciples, it is impossible that no offences should come, but woe to him through whom they do come.”

Bible Text: Luke 17:1-4

1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Lesson Introduction:

To every creature, there will always be temptations to sin, but there is a curse for such a person through whom the temptation comes.

In our society today, a lot of things are dragging men and women into temptation but we as believers should be able to inspire them through godly advice never to succumb to the urge of committing sin.

Cashless policies, loss of jobs, financial burdens here and there are the menaces begrudging our nation but we should not make people to be burdened through our reckless behaviour or advice.
