OPEN HEAVEN 20 FEBRUARY 2026 DEVOTIONAL TODAY
TOPIC: THE UNLIMITED GOD II
MEMORISE:
Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
Genesis 18:14
READ: Ezekiel 37:1-10
1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
RCCG OPEN HEAVEN 20 FEBRUARY 2026 MESSAGE TODAY
God is not only unlimited when it comes to opposition; He also cannot be limited by circumstances.
In Genesis 18:9-14, when He said that a 90-year-old woman would become pregnant, the woman laughed because, humanly speaking, she had a good cause to laugh. She had reached menopause, and her husband was almost 100 years old, yet God said, “Nine months from now, you will have a baby boy.” When she laughed, God had to call her to order by saying, “Do you think anything can be too hard for me to do?” No case is too difficult for God to solve or too hopeless for Him to turn around.
The Bible doesn’t tell us how long Manoah and his wife waited to have a child, but their waiting season ended after God sent an angel to visit them (Judges 13:2-24).
Humanly speaking, Zachariah and Elisabeth were too old to have children. In fact, the Bible says that they were stricken in years, meaning they were old and feeble. Yet, their old and frail nature didn’t stop God from giving them a child (Luke 1:5-25). When God is ready to bring forth life, no deadness can limit Him.
In today’s Bible reading, Ezekiel saw a valley that was full of dry bones in a vision. Dry bones are associated with people or animals that have been dead for long. When Ezekiel was taken to this valley that was full of dry bones, God asked him if the bones could live again. The man of God immediately realised that he had come face to face with a situation that his faith could not handle. “Lord, only You can tell,” he replied wisely.
Then, God said to him, “Prophesy to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, hear God’s word and come together, every bone to its bone as it was originally.” Naturally speaking, it is impossible for dry bones to hear anything, but when the Unlimited God steps on the scene, dry bones not only hear, but they come alive, locate the parts they were joined to, and become a mighty army!
I pray that every dry and dead situation in your life will hear the voice of the Unlimited God and come alive again, in Jesus’ name!
Ezekiel spoke to the dry bones as the Unlimited God commanded him to. Beloved, when you’re faced with situations that seem hopeless, you must speak God’s word over them. Declare what God has said into seemingly hopeless situations, and nothing will be impossible unto you.
KEY POINT:
Speak God’s word into situations that seem to be dead around you, and you will experience the wonders of the Unlimited God.

OPEN HEAVEN DEVOTIONAL 20 FEBRUARY 2026 COMMENTARY
MEMORISE: Genesis 18:14
“Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”
This memory verse confronts human logic head-on. Daddy Adeboye draws our attention to a God who sets appointments that biology, age, and history cannot cancel. God did not ask Sarah this question to shame her laughter, but to reveal a timeless truth: impossibility does not exist with Him.
BIBLE READING: Ezekiel 37:1–10
This passage is one of the clearest revelations of God’s power over hopeless circumstances.
Key Insights from Ezekiel 37:
- v.1–2: The valley was not just empty—it was full of dry bones, symbolising prolonged death and irreversible loss.
- v.3: God asked a question to shift Ezekiel’s focus from logic to sovereignty.
- v.4–7: God’s word was spoken into impossibility, and structure returned before life.
- v.10: What began as bones ended as a mighty army.
This shows that when God intervenes, restoration can exceed what was originally lost.
God Is Not Limited by Circumstances
Daddy Adeboye teaches that God’s unlimited nature is not only revealed in opposition, but also in situations that appear naturally impossible.
Human beings are limited by:
- Age
- Time
- Biology
- Medical reports
- History and past failures
God is limited by none of these.
Sarah’s Laughter and God’s Question (Genesis 18:9–14)
Sarah’s laughter was understandable:
- She was about 90 years old
- Menopause had ended her reproductive years
- Abraham was almost 100
Yet God announced a fixed timeline: “Nine months from now.”
God’s Correction:
“Is anything too hard for Me?”
This question redefines reality. Daddy Adeboye emphasizes that no case is too complicated, delayed, or embarrassing for God to reverse.
When Waiting Ends Suddenly: Manoah’s Wife
Judges 13:2–24 shows another impossible case:
- A barren woman
- No recorded timeline of how long they waited
- No medical explanation
Yet one divine visitation ended years of silence.
This teaches us that:
- Waiting does not mean forgotten
- Delay does not mean denial
- God can end a long night in a single moment
Zachariah and Elisabeth: When Age Is Ignored
Luke 1:5–25 describes them as:
- “Stricken in years”
- Old and feeble
- Naturally disqualified from childbirth
Yet Daddy Adeboye highlights a powerful truth:
When God is ready to bring forth life, no deadness can stop Him.
God does not need youth, strength, or natural capacity—He supplies life Himself.
The Valley of Dry Bones: Beyond Hopelessness
Dry bones are not just dead—they represent:
- Situations dead for a long time
- Dreams that died quietly
- Hopes with no remaining evidence
When God asked Ezekiel, “Can these bones live?” the prophet wisely replied,
“O Lord God, Thou knowest.”
This response acknowledges:
- Human limitation
- Divine supremacy
When the Unlimited God Steps In
God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy.
Naturally:
- Bones cannot hear
- Bones cannot move
- Bones cannot reconnect
Yet when God entered the scene:
- Dry bones heard
- Bones located their original positions
- Life returned
- An army emerged
Daddy Adeboye reminds us that God does not just restore—He transforms.
Your Responsibility in Hopeless Situations
Ezekiel obeyed and spoke as commanded.
Key Lesson:
When you face impossible situations:
- Don’t stay silent
- Don’t analyse endlessly
- Don’t surrender to fear
You must speak God’s word.
Declare what God has said—even when circumstances disagree.
Speaking Life Is an Act of Faith
Beloved, faith is not denying reality; it is affirming God’s authority over reality.
- Speak to dead dreams
- Speak to delayed promises
- Speak to barren areas of life
Daddy Adeboye assures us:
When God’s word is declared, nothing remains impossible.
Conclusion: Dead Things Can Hear God
No matter how dry, old, delayed, or buried a situation is, it still responds to the voice of the Unlimited God.
Prayer:
“Unlimited God, I bring every dry and dead situation in my life before You. Let them hear Your voice today. I receive restoration, life, and strength by Your word, in Jesus’ name.”
Action Steps:
- Identify one “dry bones” situation in your life.
- Find a specific scripture that speaks to it.
- Declare that scripture aloud daily for 7 days.
- Refuse silence—speak life consistently.
Remember:
If God could turn dry bones into an army, your situation is not beyond hope. Trust the Unlimited God and speak His word boldly.
