20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
RCCG OPEN HEAVEN 21 FEBRUARY 2026 MESSAGE TODAY
Over the past two days, l’ve discussed how God cannot be hindered by opposition or seemingly impossible situations. Today, I want to talk about how the Almighty God reveals His invincible nature in the midst of circumstances that seem to be out of control.
A lady once came to me crying for help. When I asked her what the problem was, she said that her husband abandoned her with their four children and went to live with another woman who had five children from other men.
The lady told me, “I fought and did everything I could to keep my husband, but I lost. Now, I want God to help me.” I told her that the issue was a simple one since she had decided to allow God to help her. I prayed with her and assured her that her husband would return home to apologise to her.
A few days later, her husband and the strange woman started quarrelling, and the strange woman said to him, “Don’t you know you are out of your senses? If you are within your senses, how will you leave your wife and your four children to come and stay with a woman who has five children, none of which are yours?” The man replied, “That is true, you know.” He acknowledged that he was out of his senses, so he packed his belongings and returned home.
When he got home, he pleaded with his wife to take him back, and she did. I decree that all your defeats shall be turned to victory, in Jesus’ name. Wherever things have gone out of control in your life, the Unlimited God will step in and rearrange them in your favour.
When an election was drawing near in Nigeria some years ago, some people were panicking because things seemed very uncertain. I asked some of them, “Do you think God is scratching His head and asking Himself, ‘What is the best action to take now?’” No situation catches the Almighty God by surprise, and no situation is too complicated for Him to unravel. Everyone and everything we see on earth is under His feet because heaven is His throne, and the earth is His footstool (Isaiah 66:1).
Beloved, do not ever be anxious about situations that seem to be out of control. Place them in the hands of the Unlimited God; He will bring everything under control and give you peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
PRAYER POINT:
Father, I place every aspect of my life in Your unlimited hands. Please take control, in Jesus’ name.

OPEN HEAVEN DEVOTIONAL 21 FEBRUARY 2026 COMMENTARY
MEMORISE: Daniel 4:35
“And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?”
This verse is the ultimate declaration of God’s absolute sovereignty. It states that human power is insignificant before Him, that He exercises uncontested will over all spiritual and earthly realms, and that His actions are unchallengeable. No being can “stay his hand”—no force can hinder, delay, or alter His purpose. This is the foundation for peace in chaotic times.
BIBLE READING: Daniel 2:20-22
In this passage, Daniel praises God specifically for His dominion over confusion and uncertainty. He blesses God who “changeth the times and the seasons” and “revealeth the deep and secret things.” He acknowledges that God “knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.” This is God’s invincible nature in action: He is the Revealer of mysteries, the Master of timing, and the One for whom darkness is as light. He is never perplexed.
The Invincible God in “Out of Control” Circumstances
Daddy Adeboye transitions from God’s ability to break opposition to His mastery over chaos. Human life is full of situations that seem irretrievably broken—relationships shattered, minds clouded, nations in turmoil. This devotional asserts that these are the very platforms where God reveals His invincible nature, proving He is the “Unlimited God” who can step in and “rearrange”things in our favour.
Case Study 1: The Rearrangement of a Fractured Home
The story of the abandoned wife is a masterclass in divine rearrangement.
- The Human Limit: The wife had exhausted all human effort—”I fought and did everything I could… but I lost.” This is the point of surrender where God often begins.
- The Divine Simplicity: Daddy Adeboye’s response, “the issue was a simple one since she had decided to allow God to help her,” reveals a key principle: the complexity of a problem is reduced to zero when placed in the hands of an omnipotent God.
- The Method of God: God did not force the man. He restored the man’s sanity (“you are out of your senses”). He used the words of the very source of the problem (the other woman) to bring conviction. God rearranged the man’s thinking, which then rearranged his actions, leading to repentance and restoration. The decree, “all your defeats shall be turned to victory,” is based on this God who turns chaos into order.
Case Study 2: The Sovereignty Over National Chaos
The election anxiety illustrates God’s dominion on a macro scale. The rhetorical question—“Do you think God is scratching His head…?”—is a powerful rebuke to human panic. It makes two points:
- God is Never Surprised: “No situation catches the Almighty God by surprise.”
- God is Never Perplexed: “No situation is too complicated for Him to unravel.”
- The reference to Isaiah 66:1 (“heaven is His throne, the earth is His footstool”) visually reminds us that from His perspective, the entire chaotic earth is under His feet. He is seated, not scrambling. He is ruling, not reacting.
The Correct Posture: From Anxiety to Trust
The application is clear: “Do not ever be anxious about situations that seem to be out of control.”Anxiety is a form of atheism—it assumes the situation is beyond God’s reach or concern. The alternative is to “place them in the hands of the Unlimited God.” This is an act of deliberate faith.
- The Promise of His Intervention: He “will bring everything under control.” This does not always mean the outcome we envision, but it means He will exert His sovereign will to bring about a result that fulfills His purpose and ultimately benefits His children (Romans 8:28).
- The Promise of His Peace: The result of this trust is “peace that passes all understanding”(Philippians 4:7). This is a supernatural calm that guards your heart and mind even while the storm rages, because you know who is in charge of the storm.
How to Practically Place Chaos in God’s Hands
- Acknowledge His Sovereignty Verbally: Pray using Daniel 4:35. Declare, “Lord, I acknowledge that no one can stay Your hand in this situation. I repute all opposing forces as nothing before You.”
- Surrender Your “Fighting”: Like the wife, stop relying on your own strategies and manipulations. Say, “I have done all I can. Now, I allow You to help me.”
- Pray for Divine Rearrangement: Ask God to rearrange minds, circumstances, and systems. Pray for restored sanity, as in the husband’s case, or for divine revelation in dark situations, as in Daniel 2:22.
- Reject Anxiety as an Insult to God’s Throne: When panic rises, ask yourself, “Am I imagining God scratching His head right now?” Use that thought to trigger a choice to trust His seated sovereignty.
- Decree Order and Peace: Prophesy to your chaotic situation: “In the name of Jesus, my Unlimited God is now stepping in to rearrange this for my favour. I receive His peace that guards my heart and mind.”
Prayer to the God of Rearrangement:
“Unlimited God, King of heaven and earth, I worship You as the One who does according to His will and none can stay Your hand. Today, I place the situation of [name the chaotic circumstance] entirely into Your hands. I cease from my own striving. I ask You to step in and reveal Your invincible nature. Rearrange minds, recalibrate circumstances, and reveal deep secrets that will bring clarity and victory. I reject all anxiety and proclaim that You are not surprised or perplexed. I receive Your peace that transcends all understanding to guard my heart and mind now. I decree that my defeat is turning to victory because You are in control. In Jesus’ sovereign name, Amen.”
